If you’ve ever been to a Jiu Jitsu class and spent the majority of the time doing pointless warm ups and sitting around while the instructor waxes lyrical about a 10 step technique that you’ll never remember then LIFT might just be the answer you’re looking for.

As a contrast to most Jiu Jitsu schools we approach classes with the majority of time spent on Scalable Live Training. This means that the majority of the each Jiu Jitsu class we run is against a resistant and non scripted opponent. We have found that this gives a much more realistic training environment, people have more fun, sweat more, and learn a hell of a lot faster.

This class is designed to help you improve your striking skills while also getting a great workout. Our class consists of partner drills, bag and pad work, conditioning exercises, and sparring for those who are interested. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced fighter, our class is suitable for all levels.

To participate in this class, you will need to bring your own 10-16oz boxing gloves, shin guards (for kickboxing), and mouth guard. These items are essential for your safety and the safety of your training partners.

In our class, you will learn proper technique and form for punches, kicks, and other strikes. You'll also work on improving your speed, power, and agility. Our experienced instructors will guide you through each drill and exercise, helping you to push yourself to your limits.

MMA is the most exciting sport in the world. Period. Tell me where else you can legally kick someone in the face, jump on top of their defenceless body and strangle them until they’re unconscious?

Here at LIFT MMA the Wednesday MMA class is where we put all aspects of various martial arts together to create something beautiful. This class will not only teach you various Mixed Martial Arts (Jiu Jitsu, Wrestling, Striking etc) but will also help to build confidence in yourself, create new friendships and provide you with ability to effectively defend yourself should occasion ever arise.

Whether you want to join to increase fitness levels, learn new skills or even compete in the cage then this class is for you. All levels welcome.

This is the perfect opportunity for you to come in and work on the techniques and positions you've been learning in class or on your own. The round timer will be on, so you can choose to roll, drill, troubleshoot, watch instructionals, chat with your training partners, or do anything else that will help you improve your Jiu Jitsu skills.

Our open mat is suitable for all levels, from beginners to advanced practitioners.
